My Opinion by Black Budda Phly

I think people who are always waiting for something bad to happen to other people so they can gossip about it are the most miserable people on earth. Like do you hate your life so much that the only thing you can do with it is wait for me to trip so you can laugh?

I think people who like to boast about what they have or what they have achieved must have the worst feelings of emptiness inside... Okay so do you think I care what size your bed is? Or how all the guys at your work are just crazy about yew? B!#+¥ Come on!

I think women who publish half naked / nude pictures of themselves shouldn't be surprised when the guys they date never propose to them... They be like "Why do I always get the childish boys who just want sex and can't commit "  Are you for real??

I think people who always publish pictures of what they eat or drink so people can think they're cool are a bunch of lonley idiots looking for attention. They be like, " Lemme take pic of this plate so people can think lead a very expensive and exciting life." Pshh please!

And that's just my opinion!

What's on your list? By Mohsina Latif

I always had this dream. Of watching U2 perform I still haven't found, one of my favourite songs, live. I loved the way the mass of people always sang to it so heartily, regardless of whether english was even a first language in that country. Then, on February 13th 2011 I watched Bono perform the song live at Soccer City in Johannesburg, and I got to scratch what I thought would be the most impossible item off my bucket list. That's the thing; it seems that sometimes even the things you think are impossible will their way to you.

My favourite part of having a bucket list is that there are moments, when you can cross off something from your list, that you realise these moments will become some of the best memories of your life; the moments that you will look back on one day and remember as making your life more worthwhile.

In addition to U2, my bucket list included watching Coldplay live, watching Brazil play football and going away on holiday on my own. Those are the things I've crossed off. And then there are the things I am yet to cross off; I want to go to Glastonbury and Tomorrowland, I want to take Eric Lanlard's baking course, I want to get my PhD., I want to travel the world, I want to take a professional dance class, I want to watch all my favourite bands perform live. I want to cycle the Cape Argus. I want to watch Cirque du Soleil.

And as you grow up, your list will change. You'll want new things, you'll let go off things you thought were important before. And at the end of it, I'd like to think that those will be the memories that make your life worthwhile.

So make a list. Simple things like take a new class. Learn a new language. Watch the sunrise on the beach. Let go of a floating lantern. And bigger things. Like travel. Go to a concert to sing your favourite song live. Find a way to change someone's life for the better. Find ways to challenge yourself; to remind yourself life is more than the ebb and flow of daily routine. To remind yourself that there are moments that make everything seem extraordinary. They Say by is Mohsina Latif

They say everyone comes into your life for a reason, some of the time not for forever. They say life will give you the people you need. They say some people are only meant to be a part of your life for a season. There's a lot of things they say about people who aren't in your life for a long time; but these sayings are just words that are meant to lessen the feelings of loss when people leave your life.

Growing up is hard because you don't always grow at the same pace as the people close to you in your life, and sometimes as hard as you might try they leave anyways because the things that held you together change and there's nothing holding you together anymore. When this happens there isn't much you can do; and when you try to forcefully keep things together, it's like trying to force together two puzzle pieces that don't go together. As much as you try to push them together eventually you have to accept they don't match and seperate them. Growing up is kind of like that. The friends you make sometimes suit one part of you, and as you grow you realise they don't suit who you're becoming. And whilst this doesn't mean the friendship has to end, it isn't exactly easy to sustain a relationship with someone who know longer understands your perspective or shares it. I'm not really certain what happens at this point; the point where you realise that you no longer have anything in common with people who once were like the other half of who you are. I'm not sure what happens at this point since the only other relationships I've had to let go off weren't as monumental as some others; and because there were relationships that I never imagined I'd have to let go of.

The thing is, it's fairly obvious when something isn't fitting anymore, but unlike merely peeling apart two ill-fitted puzzle pieces, letting go of a valued relationship is a lot harder. Accepting that there is no longer anything that sustains it is hard. Accepting that you have to go and find new people that fit who you are is hard. Accepting that you've grown up and grown apart is hard. And most of all, accepting that forcing things to stay as they were is the hardest part.

They say everyone comes into your life for a reason, some of the time not for forever. They say life will give you the people you need. They say some people are only meant to be a part of your life for a season. But these are just the words I turn to, to try and make sense of the new normal I'm faced with. These are just the words I use to console myself about growing apart from something I put years of effort into. These are just the words I tell myself as I adjust to a new normal. These are just words. . .

Is religion losing its relevance in today society by Themba Mtunja

I do not mean to sound disrespectful in any way. The reaso I am asking this question is because of the things I observe in my everyday life, and being a riligious young person in South Africa. Is religion still relevant in today's lifestyle as it was about thirty years ago and will it still be relevant in the coming thirty years? The reason I ask this question is because I see less youth in churches today and the majority of people who go to churches are old people. Is it because of the development of technology in our society or is it that the youth does not see the importance that a religion plays in our society? Does this contribute to the behaviour of our youth in South Africa? Does religion play a part in an areas crime rate or moral behaviour? If the moral behaviour of the youth of today bad compared to that of thirty years ago, what about the coming thirty years? Does this mean as technology advances and people become more urbanised or rather "modernised" in our now civilesed manner of living losing some or most of the important ways in which mould a persons character or calibre? Its even bad when I consider the practice of cultural activities. Does it mean is the youth drifts further away from the roots of their ancestors also lose themselves in the advancement of technology?

Girls spreading AIDS by Thabiso Mokgosi

D*

My name is Thabiso Mokgosi and I have recently come into contact with a sophisticated group of beautiful girls spreading the HI virus.

I met (Mercedes K Madube) via the promotional agency we both worked for. We had been flirting for a year and on the last minute, she confessed
her intention was to infect me with the HI virus, but somehow she couldn’t go thru with it. Subsequently after that I was approached by another beautiful girl (Wilhemina bodiba) belonging to this group. This   all happened within 3 days of each other.

This group seems to know my where abouts, they keep messaging me of where I am and how long I have been there. This group recently contacted my girlfriend with the intention of creating a rift between us. They got hold of her via a social network and forwarded her messages.

This group consists of young beautiful girls; they meet on Mondays to discuss stats and targets. This is dangerous and I feel people should be made aware of such groups, because they do exist.

Below is a dialogue between myself and Mercedes K Madube via Facebook.

Human machine by Eliha Kai Orah

I've been thinking of times which might release me from my remedies. Memories of old and bold, the reflux of generative gaps now moving for the very first time. My demons remind me of my angels, but nothing is strange. All this place becomes is home before it drifts away forever into nothingness. Like Bauilliard's simulacra and simulation, the maps that have replaced reality is reality itself. That exchange is a transaction of human souls in return for a life on Earth, a term and condition accepted as a being in a simulated universe.

I live in a time of wine and mental slavery. The wine I find in the grape I consume, the slavery in the human consumed by ancient, expiring truths. I tell you of Christ and you tell me of the bible, as though the two are the same thing. The latter has immortalised the former, a simple man, who in term has made the latter quite famous. Nowhere else is a documentary equivalent to its subject. Only J.K Rowling knows the truth about Harry Potter. Everything else is entertainment and we only see everything else. In truth, we see immediately that entertainment is a hindrance. To love it enough to state it as a crucial prospect of life is to be enslaved by it. A thousand shelves can never carry the reality available to you in a second. If you've tried to understand this life, that should put you right. You can spend your entire life documenting the happenings within a second and your afterlife editing those happenings - your next life will be but a simple refinement of that first draft that you authored with your actions in the previous one. All things, even the imagined things believe they truly exist.

There are proletariat in the mental state as well as the financial state. They are not conscious, except of those mundane performances of life that say morality, reproduction, survival and I. Their morality is always under threat. Their reproduction carries expensive consequences. Their survival is just that, a life purely lived to survive.

I is the most interesting of these. Identity is not taught but it may be replaced and clever governments have a very subtle way of doing so. We have people who see what isn't there, who talk to themselves the way most talk to an intimate friend, others whose minds tune into different frequencies simultaneously, yet regardless of it all, there is no one who lacks the identity of self. Our insanity exists inside the world, as much as our personal identities. The both of them exist side by side, not separate in any physical way but nevertheless distinct. Those who appear insane are led by their insanity as they amble about whereas those who appear sane, those perfect slaves of the system, lead their insanity in such a way as to conceal it. So I tell myself, to be insane is to know that you deserve more from the system. Reality seems to accommodate only a handful of seven billion. This small population, in truth, are the same handful who've had the privilege of having that same figure reflect on their bank statements and pay slips.

Regardless of the amounts of criticism one may face, an insane person knows inherently that he is responsible for his own bondage. Not only that, but to be insane is to know that you are in a kind of bondage. The boxes of slavery are endless. They follow one another like dolls. Coming out of a physical imprisonment you are met by a social imprisonment, a social imprisonment defined by trends, behavioural trends, fashion trends, all borders to a norm met to limit you. That's why creativity is so dangerous and one thing detrimental to creativity is dogma. Dogma is a call centre which promises to have God's personal line. Once convinced that there is someone on the other end, you ultimately begin to invest in airtime. To some the airtime is accepting that a man was nailed onto a piece of wood and with that gesture alone saved the whole of humanity. Another is a creed-exclusive airtime, carried in the genes, carried in the blood, where the culture is the religion and the religion is the dogma. How fantastic, only a select few have access to God's number. That's a whole lot of male-cow excrement! With how personal God is we may all be atheists. Now, an atheist is one who is not satisfied with religion as a moral compass. Makes sense. Is religion really sufficient an explanation for describing life in this century? It is perfectly evident when a science has expired its use, particularly if it was never a science to begin with. Such a science, that responds to authority as much as a true science responds to logic, can only reinforce its own laws by breaking them which is where most religious institutions are at present. Religion, in its time of crisis has become a self-defeating method of inspecting the universe. Like all self-defeating systems, it takes all its members together with itself to the grave. I inherently practice the disregard of belief, why? I feel like I'm signing away my soul every time I reinforce another man's idea of God into my mind and unfortunately religion relies heavily on this self-reinforcement. This act is what I call Regurgitative Simplification. It is when one simplifies oneself through regurgitating social norms, like there is only one body truly living in the world. What governs everybody else is simply a contagion of the acts committed by that one body. Think of a yawn. An example of a well-embedded social norm, a norm that has travelled through many millennia with only a few persons ever defying it, is the Regurgitated simplification conveyed in death. We all follow that social norm and so we all must die. It's so deeply embedded within us that we think it impossible to defy it. An obvious point to raise is, these same religions that praise ascended beings (beings who have escaped death) are the same systems that have reinforced the social norm called death. They use death as a way of reinforcing their teachings, and since they teach morality - in a trivial manner, I should add -they use death to teach morality. How fantastic. "Do not kill," on one side and "We are all going to die," on the other. Hm?

By his disbelief, lack of faith and the likes, an atheist pronounces that religion has expired its use as a moral science because of such devious ploys to convert him/her. Much like how Newtown's laws have forfeited themselves as a guide to gravity under the new weight of General Relativity, religion is facing its death. Not that many people are against it. On the contrary, ex-atheists have converted to some religion or another so their lives may be bearable. They go to church, to mass or a mosque regardless of that part of them that tells them God is but a created idea used to control society. It makes their lives bearable. God was the best idea sold to the poor.

What happens if the poor deny this gift? They cannot. The poor are designed by our system to scavenge. God is designed as a miraculous provider. See my point? For the poor to not fulfil this aspect of their design is to surrender the title of destitution and pronounce their independence, which will never happen because to be poor is to be dependent, by definition.

I announce then that the proletariat of intellect is the worst kind to be. This time around, he is the man who is satisfied with having a job that brings in money, who uses that money to buy different things: women, cars, anything to feed the materialism that imprisons him to the vicious cycle that is but another box in the set of infinite prisons. It is vicious because each of his purchases are designed to make him want more of them. Encoded into every product there seems to be something like a barcode on foods and an isbn on books that says, want us, buy us, over indulge in us. While this man goes on with a life that he thinks he is living out of his own accord (and that is without limits), the royal families of Europe oversee the whole process. How do they rescue the proletariat? They will never. To keep him quiet, they create for him toys, toys which he has to buy with money. The monetary system is the perfect way of keeping tabs on the population. It's not the end. They do not need to put value on money because it's readily available to them. Since they own the right of printing money, a queen with four billion in her bank account can spend three billion in one night and still have four billion in the same bank the morning after. We all have the same privilege except in our case, there is a longer delay and if the money returned is to perfectly reflect the money spent, we must work for it. Do not forget the limit. We only think a billion dollars is a lot because that's the social norm. They could have designed it so that a thousand dollars could buy you an island, but either way the poor would still find it equally as difficult to get to that thousand as they do to a billion and if you didn't know, they already do. Some of them. The proletariat of intellect, whether they earn a good salary or not, do nothing about them because they are imprisoned by an invisible cage called Capitalism. The only thing they can intuit within Capitalism, if they try really hard, is the divide it brings between the working class and the unemployed proletariat. The two are allergic to each other yet they both exist for the same thing, money. The only thing which seems to use money in the interest of the people is science and this points to another thing that the atheist finds wrong with religion, that, in failing as a moral science it has become corruptible. Science is not perfect but science is not set in stone. A logical man can say, fair enough. Your system works, mine doesn't. Religion cannot say it. God is apparently unchanging. Religion may maintain that X is wrong, regardless of the many advantages that come to humanity as performed in X's name. A morality set in authority and not logic is constant and to logic nothing is as constant as change.

Science is adventure. It's the path to the future. It doesn't threaten religion directly. It simply states that this life is not as simple as religion might have it to be. Our purpose? Our purpose does not lie in the present moment. It lies behind the horizon, where the future awaits us. Religion teaches us to walk forward while looking at the past. Science teaches us to walk consciously. Everything we own goes to memory. Everything else is not ours to keep.

Dear Girls… yoga pants are not skinny jeans. By Mthobisi Wanda

-Yoga pants, from a guy’s perspective, are any dudes
dream. They hold women
in the right places. They reveal everything there is
to know about that
girl. From the size of her ass to her curves and
other things in between.
When you holding a girl wearing yoga pants, it’s
like she’s already naked.
It kind of gives a guy that Durex feeling, gives you
that get skin-to-skin
feel. But, don’t wear that §#!;7 in public. They are
called yoga pants for a
reason.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not telling you what to
wear, I’m no fashion
expert. There’s nothing classy about wearing that
thing when you going to
the mall though. We know they are comfortable
and absorb sweat better than
sweatpants. We all know chicks with no ass are
nothing and I understand
some girls feel there’s need to boast about theirs
but, I just think yoga
pants belong in a gym or yoga. You may use them
when you’re doing cardio
and other gym related activities but not as your
outfit for the day. After
all, they are not skinny jeans.
I’m not one of those people who –when women get
raped- says ‘they had it
coming’, I just think there’s a place and time for
them. I once dated a
lady who didn’t wear them when she’s in public. I
asked why she didn’t wear
them; she replied “I got standards”.
Also, don’t be a huge girl with massive thighs and
wear yoga pants in
public. It’s not nice. We don’t need that kinda
trauma.

The worlds outlook By Remmy

The image is a prime example of how narrow minded the world has become, as everyone in this modern age is told to be proud of what they are and who they are. A person can be a proud homosexual in modern society, a person can be proud of their race, their heritage, their background etc.

Yet when a white man just so happens to show any signs of having any pride for his race or background and its immediately regarded by all as racist. A person of European decent, widely regarded as simply the white man, who is by default responsible for all the wrong in every non-white culture. Worldwide most races are slandering the white man for being the bringer of burden to their lives now and in the past.

Alright i will indulge their pain and acknowledge that the Europeans in the past may have not brought a swift mass of peace for the world, but the world was still in somewhat a primitive state and still learning its place in a sense. And now its that very people that are striving to maintain order but the rest want to point and blame and expect compensation. Here's a small example, there are colleges in the US strictly for blacks, which is ok, I understand whites are still financially dominant, but just a breath of making a white only college and the world is up in arms. (not that it's needed) Civilization, modern lifestyles is thanks to European colonials.

So although their ancestors never had the greatest lives due to white dominance, the world has changed thanks to colonization and now those previously without it have the modern world. The world is fair ground now, you may be what you want, but the whites aren't aloud to be proud of who they are, that's unfair.

In the next 20 years there's going to be a severe change in the majority populace that governs most countries with multiple races. The US, England, France, whites are going to be the minority race within 20 to 50 years. The European empire will not be home to the people that created anymore and it's just being aloud. Yet whites must stay put and be sorry for what the ancestors did centuries back.

Racism aside if every race is influenced to be proud of their race etc then why isn't that the case with Caucasian.

My opinion on women who post half naked pics.. By Leeroy Burger

I think its a good thing. Women are still learning about their value in society. Sexual urges and lust are like base level desires, our most basic sensitory functions as men that can be tapped into by women. Until women reach a level that they want to be valued for more than that, we should let them be.

Not everyone wants to be an equal, and we can't force people to want to be valued for their character. Lets face it most people don't like themselves, they get insecure, jealous and aren't confident expressing how they really feel. We each as individuels have to take responsibilty for the person we have grown to be ( and dislike in alot of cases).

So let them advertise and be wanted for the one part of themselves they can take no credit for, their genetics. If your not being respected, you atleast want to be wanted, because we all deep down crave to be accepted in some way or other.

Can men be friends with women? By Mthobisi Wanda

The word friendship is synonymous to love. We all
love our true friends.
Even if you’re a guy, you do have feelings about
other guys and that does
not make you gay. It’s just love. Women cannot be
friends with guys
because, it is impossible. Men befriend women
because they have ulterior
motives. Men will always be attracted to women
sexually and that is never
going to change. By that, I do not mean men view
women as sexual objects
but, it’s only natural.
Most guys who become friend with women usually
don’t get laid. And that’s a
fact. They never get laid simply because they ignore
the sexual side in
women. They become teddy bears if I may refer
them to that. I compare then
to teddy bears because, women talk, hold, and sleep
with them but you never
see their penis. If a woman starts calling a guy her
friend, that is never
a good sign. Friend zone is never a good place to be
if you are a straight
guy. The so-called “sweet guys” use the friend
approach because they hoping
that they will get laid, but they are wrong. It never
happens.
Men can’t be friends with women also because
sooner or later you are going
to develop feelings for that woman. And before you
know it, you are inlove.
It’s the same thing as having friends with benefits.
You will end up cock
blocking her because now you are jealous that
there is another guy that she
is with. Same as women, they end up making
stories about the girl the guy
is with. They will even pull a story from two decade
ago to convince a guy.
In the end, it all ends up being awkward between
both of you.
What you can do is have sex with your ex and then
leave. Never let her even
lay her head on your pillow. If a woman lays her
head on your pillow, then
she already is thinking relationship. Always have
sex in your friends place
or something.

Freedom by Charmaine Beetge

“I have always seen myself as a free spirit. I
nominated myself a gypsy,
because I love the sense of freedom they portray. I
love the way they live,
moving around from place to place, the way they
dress, their music, and
everything else about them. I started changing my
life at a young age to be
part of their culture. I thought by doing what they
do, and live the way
they live, I would have freedom, and I would be set
free from that feeling
- being stuck. Unfortunately, I had the wrong
definition of what true
freedom means, that is why my relationships never
worked out, I jumped from
one job to the next, went into addiction and so the
list goes on and on.” I
have been on a lifelong journey, where the quest
for freedom has been such
a burning fire within me that it has taken me many
places in my life, only
to NOW find the answer, and realising how simple
it actually is!”
Our need for freedom is such an intense drive that
once we set sights on
something which we believe will achieve it, we will
move toward it
magnetically.
If we have a bad and inaccurate definition of
freedom that cannot produce
freedom, we will always feel stuck in life.
The importance of a clear and accurate definition of
freedom is that the
rest of the journey depends on starting at the right
place and aiming at
the right target. Many counterfeits exist that look a
lot like freedom at
the outset, but the outcome of pursuing these
“decoys” is further “
stuck-ness” – because they each constitute bad
definition.
Here are some examples of these counterfeits to
freedom-
Counterfeit 1 – when people define freedom as the
absence of boundaries
- it is like an animal with no fences. It works like
this - we want to do
something, but don’t have enough money…our boss
wont let us off work….our
spouse resents some desire we have that is part of
our true nature…the
child who believes his parents is holding him back,
fights against them in
a number of ways. The variety of fences is endless.
Because boundaries are
frustrating, we believe that the boundaries are the
cause of the
stuck-ness.  The trap occurs when we believe that
removing these obstacles
will make us free, because then our freedom
depends on someone else. We
have granted them control over us. It is the belief
itself that has us
stuck, not the boundary.
Counterfeit 2 – freedom is the absence of frustrating
habits
The second counterfeit focuses on treating the
symptoms instead of the root
cause- “I drink too much, therefore if I stop
drinking, I will be free…If I
stop screaming, stop cutting myself, stop whatever
compulsive behaviour
seems to be the source of frustration for me and my
loved ones, then only
then will I finally be free”. We assume that when
we are free from
drinking, drugging, yelling, pornography, etc., then
we will be free.
Counterfeit 3 – freedom will come when my
circumstances or relationships
change – It is the belief that we will be free when
we get out of the
circumstances or relationships that seem to bind us.
Our growing
dissatisfaction is often taken out on the nearest
meaningful relationship.
We think, “Surely this situation or these people are
keeping me stuck.”
SO WHAT IS FREEDOM THEN?- To be free is to be
able to act and react fully
out of who you were designed and created to be,
regardless of the
circumstances of your life, or the behaviour of the
people around you.
Lasting freedom is rooted in who we are, not what
we are doing. Outward
circumstances have little, or nothing to do with true
freedom.  Freedom
comes from a recreated heart, not from finally
discovering the right
strategy!

Behavior in the office by Imtiaz Mohamed

Appropriate behaviour in the workplace used to be
a priority not important
enough to be featured on a memo. It was a concept
that created little or
no controversy because of the assumption that
being at work automatically
meant adopting the professionalism your vocation
requires.  With time and
development, also came changes that made the
concept of ‘HARD WORK PAYS
DIVIDENDS ‘devoid of any real novelty.  From
shifting responsibility to
inappropriate banter – these newfound activities at
the office have become
acceptable so effortlessly, that we find ourselves
with the tedious task of
deciphering our professional lives from our
personal ones.  In retrospect,
taking pride in one’s occupation – was the sole
objective of attaining job
satisfaction. These days, however, that objective
has been replaced with
more questionable antics including: GOSSIP,
HARRASMENT, and IMPROPER
CONDUCT.  The balance of priorities in the
workplace has shifted so
dramatically, that employees who actually take
work seriously – have
ironically become ostracised.
The ratio of WORK MODE: RELAX MODE has taken
such a revolutionary upheaval,
that the office has become a sanctum which people
attend to pass time, as
opposed to achieving what is required of them.
Modern trends have
suggested that shifting responsibility has become the
norm to such an
extent, that job prescriptions have become
redundant. After all, when you
get so accustomed to having someone do your job
for you – it becomes
somewhat confusing to answer the question: ‘what
is it that I do?’
I’ve often heard the expression at the office: “don’t
take it so
seriously…” and I’ve scratched my head several
times at the audacity of
such a statement; that may suggest you adopt a laid
back approach to your
work. As essential as it is to fill your day with the
appropriate amount
of leisure and and extra –curricular relief, the
balance of priorities
should not be confused.  Also synonymous with
modern day office ethics, is
the criteria used to determine your worth to an
establishment.
Business has always been a cutthroat concept-but
all the more prominent at
present – when we consider how many companies
have employees that
unashamedly take credit for work that isn’t theirs.
It may seem
astonishing to read such a thing, as it is to write it…
but it’s practiced
more often than you can imagine. I sit at my desk
now, ironically thinking
why I’m using my lunch break to write this article,
but the reality of the
situation strikes me swift and without surprise.  I’m
one of those that
give my job the respect it deserves- which explains
why I’m writing this
article, as opposed to lowering my values just to
climb the ladder.

LEHA….by her perfect… By Imtiaz Mohamed

She came to me,
Like the air which resonates paradise…
Her touch on me...
Is fire to my ice.
Chivalry due…
Were my heart doth construe...
From the moment we kissed,
It was raindrops in mist.
She has the eyes
Of flaming glare
When she looks and tries
To have my gaze compare.
I lower them fast...
Tis coyness so vast.
That’s overcome me true...
Whenever I look at you.
Her absence brings pain...
There is tears everyday
Thou this heart cries in vain...
As the pain doth stay.
When can I be...
Together with she...
Tis only when we meet,
That my heart feels complete……..

Why is it so bad when a woman cheats? By Mthobisi Wanda

Cheating. It something that always seems to happen
when you are in a
relationship. Is it something that can be curbed? Or
does it happen by
mistake or is it intentional? Whatever the answer
is, it is something that
is really not good when it is done by a woman. But
why because men do it
too.
The reason that I can come up with is, it is bad
when a women cheats
because when a women cheats, it is because it is
premeditated and when men
cheat, it is just cheating. Let me explain, women
are more experience than
men when it come to sex. Women are picky when it
comes to who does and does
not get their vagina. In essence, women are more
like to turn down sex than
men.
Men on the other hand are very valrunable
individuals. Men have been
watching porn since they were twelve years old.
They probably still do
now.  They have pornographic images in their
heads of sexual positions they
want to fulfill before they die. It is very rare that
men are asked by
women they just met if they want to have sex.
Women, as soon as they leave
the house, they put their vagina on lockdown. No
one gets in.
So, it is bad when women cheat because it is
something they think about
before they do. To men, it just happens.

A government of the ANC by the ANC by Rebone Masemola

The national elections are coming up again, South
Africans being given the
full power and capacity to choose a party they
deem capable of moving us
forward. When we reflect on the past four years,
there is little left to
appease the taste buds, only unimaginable
bitterness. Jacob’s term was
overshadowed by cases of doom and gloom that
have in many ways affected the
state of the economy, our political climate and
social lives. The leader of
the so called ‘free nation’ (democratic society) has
changed how the rest
of the world perceives us, breeding an unstable
business climate that has
become questionable to international investors. One
protest after the
other, the country has sunk into a black hole. The
people driven into a
state of desperation by poor service delivery,
unemployment, poverty and a
questionable education system. The country has
been let down on countless
occasions by the shower man sworn in to do right
by the people, yet, he
continues to call himself a man of the people. All we
have experienced
during his reign is nothing but disarray; he
continuously disregards the
opinions of the people he claims to Govern. Jacob
and his people have
become the law on their own, thus, the
constitutional law and justice
system does not apply to them. They have at times
attempted to question and
mock our intelligence, insisting on treating us as
though we are a nation
of delusional people who are unable of distinguish
wrong from right. Yet,
they want us to believe we have a say and power to
influence the running of
our own country, forgetting that an unhappy public
makes for a chaotic
political and social space.
In the last four years, the line of communication
between the governed and
the government was cut off; and our life line was
removed from right
underneath us. The founding basis of our
democracy has been disputed, with
a government that is out to serve its own interests
ahead of its followers.
With a leadership that is out to make a quick buck
and enrich their friends
and families, while the rest of us rot in the gutter.
The country of the
people by the people became a country of the ANC
by the ANC for the ANC.
Even at the critical moment when the President got
the chance to change
public opinion regarding his leadership; he chose to
play delusional and
ignorant. Logic does not seem to apply to him; he
continues to believe that
people will remain loyal to him regardless of his
proved incompetence. The
Lass forgets that people can change things for him
at the poll, 2014 is
ushering in a new generation of voters who do not
have personal memories of
apartheid, and they have no emotional attachment
to the ANC which the older
generation has. Young people were born into a
different time with a
distinct political climate; their needs are much
more versatile from those
of their parents. They want tangible results in the
present, a future of
economic stability, not just promises. The youth of
2014 is dancing to a
different drum and singing a different tune from
the past. We are led by a
government that has corrupted our justice system,
decayed from top down.
When do we as a pupil of the land hold our
government accountable, and when
do we say enough is enough and force them to take
responsibility? We have a
duty to ourselves, our struggle heroes and the next
generation, what kind
of country and future are we moulding for our
children? Have we have slowly
become a nation of dormant citizens and Yes Mans,
incapable of changing our
circumstance?

Beware of Scams by Anonymous

I would like to advise people that are currently job hunting to be aware of agencies they work for especially MJM Recruitment. I am currently job hunting an like a fool I was, got a text message from the so called CEO of MJM recruitment agency, named Mario Matthews. He told me it was a temp post for a period of 3 days, with a salary of R187 a day. I had left my kids with a baby sitter an also borrowed money to get there. I worked for the entire day 9 hours no breaks. But! I then phoned Mario in regards to my contract an he said they were currently off line an will send it asap. No contract came. I got in the taxi the next day went to town an then got a message from Mario saying, that the person I was temping for was back. My point is! if u own a recruitment agency! you need to give your employees correct details. I was furious because it's not cheap taking two taxis. I then texted Mario in regards to my wages an he requested for my banking details. I was so happy just to get paid because of my commitments at home. I forwarded this with no hesitation. He also promised me that I would receive payment the next day. He then put all my calls on reject an his number disappeared from my phone. Up to this very day, "I have not been paid" despite my attempts to get back what I worked for. I even called the place I worked at, and they said it's not they responsibility because they had paid MJM recruitment. The phone numbers provided on the Internet for the mentioned agency are all incorrect. Please ensure that when applying for a job! the recruitment agency is recognised, also make sure you read the contract before signing anything. My advise to you is! "If you hear the name MJM recruitment please say no." Don't be fooled an scamed like I was. Agencies like this just use you to work like a slave an don't pay you.

Reply to " Beyoncé too sexy for a role model by Masindi Mamphiswana " by Sshee

An interesting article stating the obvious, but no matter how obvious the states are, I do think that that needed to be said... Byonce's outfits are getting skimpier by the album!

However though, I do not believe in pointing fingers at the media when it comes to parents raising their kids. YES the media does play a huge, bad role in the way that women percieve themselves. Which is sad really.

However, it is the responsibility of parent (not the media) to teach our kids right from wrong. It the parents' duty (not Beyonce's to become good role models and to act in a way that they would like to see their kids act.

Yes there is no denying Beyonce uses her sexuality to push sales. But, she does not come into anyones house and puts a gun on anyones head to watch her obscene performances or buy her sexually overt album. It is not as if she came into our homes and no one could do anything about it. Beyonce is what she is today because we all supported her - whether it was by buying her music or turning a blind eye at her less than moral marketing strategy.

Girls will grow up to believe they are sex symbols not because Beyonce's potraying herself as one, but simply because no one will tell them any different.

So yes the media has distorted our perception of the roles girls and women play in society but pointing fingers at those who profit from this does nothing to solve the problem.

Beyoncé too sexy for a role model by Masindi Mamphiswana

If part of being a feminist entails being overly sexually expressive at the cost of propriety and decency, then that's exactly what Beyoncé is showcasing on her latest self-titled album. Is the highly sexual lyrical and visual content of her album a reinforcement of feminism?

Beyoncè is a self-proclaimed feminist. In her album there a segment in a song called Flawless in which she features a speech titled 'We should all be feminists' given by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It is questionable whether the advocacy of women's rights and gender equality is best expressed through such blatant and tasteless displays of sexuality. This coming from a woman who's influential, is concerning as little kids also sing along to Beyoncé's music.

In a patriarchal world in which men are constantly accused of objectifying women as sexual tools, as a woman, Beyoncé's behavior is ironic because she is constantly portraying herself in a sexual way and yet women complain about men's treatment. However, this is in no way a justification of the sexual harassment of women. But then again, that's the business of pop culture in which sex is what sells. Most commercial products in music, film and magazine industries must contain an element of sex in order to garner mass attention. Sex is a key ingredient to raising sales and making large profits.

The record-breaking sales figures of the Beyoncé album attests to this having sold over 800 000 copies in just under a week on i-Tunes. Sure, this can be attributed to her mega stardom but it is also plausible that sex appeal aided her album sales.

Beyoncé has always been a sex symbol from her early days in Destiny's Child and after the launch of her highly successful solo career in 2003. She has never shied away from sexiness as much of her music reveals. But this time the unapologetically sexual lyrical and visual content on her album has raised eyebrows eliciting some negative comments.

By TV host Bill O'Reilley's reckoning, Beyoncé is a role model to young girls and therefore shouldn't be doing this sort of thing. He lodged harsh criticism towards her in interviews referring to her album as 'exploitative garbage'.

Indeed, Beyoncé has overstepped the boundary unnecessarily. With global fame and a massive bank account of about $300 million, she doesn't need to do this. She is setting a bad example of conduct for young girls. However, she is a 'Grown Woman' and she can do whatever she likes as she boldly states on one of the album's catchy songs.

Marriage is not always what it seems by Samantha Kuppan

People say that the only time you get to know a person is when you live with them. It may all seem so unreal an like you living in a fairy tale at first, but when time comes you will eventually see the true colors. Most marriages fall apart because something is lacking emotionally, sexually or physically. To all the women that have been abused verbally, physically an emotionally. Remember life is too short to just sit back and be treated with no respect. Don't let any man put you down, call you names an judge you because you are a precious piece of rare jewel. You may sometimes feel so alone an used, but believe me! it's not the end of the world." You deserve better an can accomplish so many things by yourself, staying positive being determined an just loving your self each day is the best tool ever.

Nelson Mandela`s statement from the dock at the opening of the defence case in the Rivonia Trial

Memorable words by Nelson Mandele. RIP Tata.

“During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this
struggle of the African people. I have fought against
white domination, and I have fought against black
domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic
and free society in which all persons live together in
harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal
which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be,
it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”

Loosing someone special by Samantha Kuppan

A mother is someone that carried you in her womb for 9 months, natured, loved you unconditionally, fed you no matter how bad things were, comforted you when you were down an out , taught you right from wrong, But! most importantly showered you with love all the time no matter how you treated her. We always tend to take the things they say or do for granted, but when they are gone it's too late. When you see them lying helpless an cold in a wooden coffin your heart just melts, knowing that the same women who gave birth to you, you cannot help. Your heart is then filled with unconditional sorrow an pain which will heal in time. Memory's are the only things that can get you through this tragedy an no matter how lonely an empty you may feel just remember that your mum is now with God in a better place watching, guiding an still looking over your shoulder.

Finding Me by Leanne Chetty

I often ponder on years gone by and wish that I could go back and relive my life. There are so many wrongs that I want to make right and so many battles that I am now ready to fight.Life is a journey that we all have to take, with no rewind or replay, just one chance to either make or break.Straight roads do not make skillful drivers and if your dreams don't scare you then they are certainly not big enough.Everyone is gifted but most of US never open our package and all that remains is bitterness and regret.I used to walk into a room and wonder if they liked me but now I look around and wonder if I like them.Running away from ones problems is a race that can never be won, a deed that remains undone.Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life.To be able to live, laugh and love is the hope of a better tomorrow.Words so true yet easier said than done but with confidence and determination, the sky is truly the limit.Love and accept yourself wholeheartedly before you expect the world to.You can never be good enough for everyone but you will always be the best for those who care, appreciate and deserve you.Give everyday the chance to become the most beautiful day of your life.Be there for others but never leave yourself behind.Happiness isn't about getting what you want all the time. Its about loving what you have and being grateful for it.I am not sure of what > my future holds but I am sure of who holds my future. > "Finding Me" ,I look around but all I see , Are empty spaces, staring back at me , Once a child , so young and free, The precious fruit of a great big tree , A tender bond full of love and care , Nothing on earth could ever compare , The truth of reality comes tumbling down , Leaving behind it's piercing crown , The gift of life , a priceless token , Though sometimes shaken yet never broken , Every heart has threaded this path , often giving into temptations wrath , The time has come to finally see , What lays hidden inside of me , The challenges I face will be a fight , But the courage I embrace shall lead me to the light , I set aside all my fears and pleas , Believing that I hold the secret key , Within me lies the ultimate dream , Taking me to the very extreme ," Come what may", today I say ," For I am ready and waiting to play" , I stand up proud and fairly strong , knowing that the show must go on , Unlocking the fear of finding me , Is the greatest treasure that lies in thee.

Anthem for the doomed youth.

By Themba Mtunja

Preaching freedom while liberation exist not in the mind... Untrusted future in the hands of a desparate generation... Hope forgotten because ignorance is ruling a rebelious nation... A cursed pigment will always fall behind...

Give it a shiny object and see how it brags... Then you wont have to chain it as it thinks of freedom... Name it according to its behaviour... Then you will see it resembling its ape ancestors...

By throwing stones at you and singing amandla, nga wethu... Grant it freedom of expression... Because it wont see that it is under psychological oppression... Like its ancestors...

Put it in a cage and give it a banana... You will see it bousting by beating its chest at a sight of an audience... Calling itself iskhothane...

Then you say the future belongs to the youth... Then my question would be... Which future and which youth?

Elections Elections... Some food for thought

The following article was copied from a status update on facebook.

The writer of the article is unknown however I thought this might make for some interesting food for thought.

*cited from elsewhere:

Mandela's cabinet consisted of 28 ministers and
their deputies.
Thabo Mbeki cabinet consisted of 28 ministers and
their deputies.
Jacob Zuma cabinet consists of 64 ministers and 64
deputy ministers.
Each minister has 8 bodyguards
Each minister has 2 mansions in Cape Town and in
Pretoria.
Each deputy minister has 8 bodyguards.
Each deputy minister has 2 mansions in Cape
Town and in Pretoria.
In 2009 when the Zuma government took over,
auditor general reported a loss of R8 billion.
In 2010 we lost R15 billion.
In 2011 n 2012 we lost R20 billion.
In 2013 we lost R31 billion.
America has about 400 million citizens and Obama
cabinet consists of only 20 people.
South Africa has 51 million citizens and is the only
country in the world that has the biggest cabinet
that consist of 128 people.
Our debt is R1 trillion.
As you vote on May 7th, think about the billions we
lose every year, monies that could have created
jobs.
